It's given the day a distinctly spooky atmosphere; it's got the same wind and colouring that I might expect from a big storm about to break, but none of the electrical tension in the air or heaviness.
It's not quite a thick fog, but it's also not distinctly grains of sand either.
It's just odd enough to be continuously ominous right throughout the day.. this filtered, golden light and the occasional very strong gust of wind. It's almost (dare I say it...) Silent Hill-ish.

Quarter-century into these photographs! I'm pretty pleased with the decision NOT to force myself to do one every day, I know that I would have failed it waaaay back when if that was the case. As a result, they're not -super- creative either though. But so far I'm okay with that. There's always the option in the future to stake them more often and be more introspective with them if I choose to be.
Wow, what can I say about the weather except that it's amazing over here. As soon as I think I've experienced everything, it gives me something new.
Oh, P.S.! Look again at that first photo, you can see the new-to-me-Camry that I'm not putting around in! I managed to switch out the old Deathtrap Ford at my Sister's place. It's going to take a little bit of adjustment to driving around in a new car, but god it's so nice to have a car with a little bit of guts in it again... and not to mention the money I'll save on petrol!
